Lessons from last week's shoot

These are so fundamental and timeless I wonder, in equal measure, how they are not somehow etched on the back of every camera and also how i only just became aware of them. They are as follows (numbers relate to pictures obvs):

1. There is not a shoot in the history of time that has not benefitted by presence of a brown lab.

2 & 3. Under no circumstances expect to give your phone to talent as a prop and not expect them to at best liberally papp you and, at worst, mess with your entire digital life.

4. All props artist should receive unlimited sympathy and possible a reserved seat in heaven for the work they do re-arranging the chaos at the end of a shoot day.
